Great game in almost every way.. fire a bazooka into an enemy and watch it go loop de loops before going back to you, your last sight being you being murdered along with your enemy with your own bazooka's rocket, both of you getting turned into a red paste.yes. Worst 8-bit game ever.. A great overall party game. Controller support is a bit whack with my current setup, but I'm sure that can be iorned out with some tinkering. The chunkly game-feel is still here, and is probably one of the defining aspects of this game. The controls are deliberate, but require a good amount of getting used to. Matches tend to be longer than other contemporaries but overall nothing to terribly bad. Solid 6/10 from me, offical server support and a drop-in-drop-out style for campaign maps would be the first two things I'd like to see happen.. The game is pretty good, if you played Superfighters it just gets better, there's a lot of things in this game the previous one didn't have.Controls: They are really good, they may be bad at first but you become good at them really fastSoundtrack: It's really good like i actually just love it.Maps: There's Official Maps and the Community maps, both of them are really good, also in some of them there's traps that just makes them better, sometimes if you're lucky you can use the things on your enviroment to kill your enemies Example: Explosive Barrels.Community: OK, you can't evade playing with toxic people, there is not a lot of these guys but it's very possible they appear.Weapons: There's a lot of weapons you can use, Melee weapons, guns, explosives, etc. explosives have great things like the C4 or mines, you can use them as traps or other things, also there's 2 op weapons on the game: The Chainsaw and The Bazooka, if you find one of these you become the most powerful dude on the server (Unless you ♥♥♥♥ up and die)So i'm going to give it a 9.5, can't wait for the next updates :). SO.. i used to play this game a lot on a browser.. im pleased that a better version has been released.. and i need to say its pretty fun, but i think the cpu is too hard.. this might me being bad or it seriously being hard.. after all i still recommend this game and i do not regret the purchase of it. 9/10 I grew up with the flash game and this is a great recreation. Control for keyboard are very clunky. Gun aiming is particularly bad. Played with a friend on co-op and both of us quit out because we were not having fun.. Obra maestra papá. Status update 2018-12-05: Attention superfighters!It's been a crazy time for us, releasing Superfighters Deluxe on Steam. The overall response has been heartwarming and encouraging - our sincere thanks to everyone who has championed the game and tried to help us bring it to a wider audience.While the amount of copies sold isn't nearly enough to let us quit our day jobs and move into full time development (go figure!), we aim to keep improving and building on SFD over the coming months. We aren't out of ideas - not by far - and the plan is to release big, free updates semi-regularly, each with a new story campaign at its center, plus new versus and survival maps, tiles, weapons, customization items and challenges to boot. Work has already begun on the next campaign, for which I'm personally very excited! In addition, we will look at bringing the game to other PC platforms such as GOG.For now, our priority is to fix the remaining problems with the controller support - an update will be released very soon. Another sticking point for some people is the need to port forward to play the game online. While we realize this is inconvenient, implementing dedicated servers in SFD is not trivial, and we currently have no plans to rewrite huge amounts of our net code to do so. Hopefully the slight inconvenience of opening your ports will be weighed up by the literally hundreds of hours of non-repetetive gameplay the multiplayer offers. The client and port forwarding will be set up once while browsing games and only be closed once you exit the browse game panel. Same change has been done with the connect to IP panel. This should make the automatic port forwarding more reliable over different types of routers as the port forwarding rules are not created and deleted for each connection attempt.- Improved the loading sequence. The server will aggressively kick users that refuses to load a map (whatever the reason may be).- Fixed a bug where the map editor save dialog would suggest to save new maps in the installation folder for the game instead of the user's documents folder for the game (copy-paste error). Launching this game after installing this update will automatically move any custom maps in the installation folder to the correct documents folder for the game. If the move fails (for whatever reason) the maps are still in the installation folder.- Changed how the hit detection for thrown items against player works to make it more reliable when throwing items in the back of players running away.- Disabled tunneling check for projectiles against a handful of large objects that the player can't collide against.- Disabled tunneling check from the player's feet to the base of the weapon against gas cans and propane tanks so they can't be hit when overlapping the player's lower body in certain odd situations. Note that these objects can still be hit if you overlap them with your arm and weapon.- Fixed a bug where the player wouldn't collide correctly with the world after surviving a rocket ride explosion (if any health modifiers are in use).- Fixed a bug where you would always be gibbed if you stayed on a bazooka rocket long enough for it to explode, even if you had enough HP to survive the explosion (if any health modifiers are in use).- Fixed a bug where toggling a script on/off wouldn't store the enabled state of the script properly, causing the script to not start or stop properly next game in certain cases.- Fixed a bug where the server software would display the "Save Changes" and "Discard Changes" alternatives on automatic map changes.- Other fixes and tweaks.
